Loving it

I love Christian music. Contemporary yes. However old timey hymns there is this pureness about it. It is actually more peaceful and I believe Holy Spirit is so apparent. Most Christian music nowadays is good but theres something about it where true worship I believe gets lost. Sometimes when listening to it the pop sounds and all can make me want to revert to non Christian music. But these hymns is like traveling back in time to see real christians who dont have a watered down faith. The values are a lot stronger. Im reading Grace Livingston Hill and her writings made me want to become like the early Christians back in the 20s, 30s, and 40s. Theres just an innocence thats missing today and I love the peace it offers. Which no doubt is the Holy Spirit at work. I had a bad habit of listening to non Christian music and BBN helps me to stay focused on what I should listen to and what I should refrain from. In this day and time it takes me away from the chaos of this world into Gods presence
